Embrace the Endings. They Lead to New Beginnings.

As my children are at their last day of school in their current grades, excited for the adventure of summer and beginning a new grade; it has me in a very reflective mode.
I think about how far they have come in just one school year from their physical to mental growth. It makes me think about the physical and mental growth that I incurred during this school year.
As I sit here with my coffee, grateful for many things in my life –including my yummy coffee. As many of you know I love. And tomorrow marks the beginning of summer in my world. I am grateful to begin it visiting family and friends and being surrounded by love. I am reflective in all the accomplishments and growth I have had personally this year.
Sometimes it is good to sit and reflect on all that you have accomplished. It is too easy to get wrapped up in all the daily mundane tasks. You forget about the bigger things you have accomplished.
Those could be starting a new job, or leaving a job, starting a new hobby such as dancing or gardening. Writing a book! Whatever it may be – big or small. Congratulate yourself on what you have accomplished in the year so far.
Embrace the endings that have led to new beginnings and all that is still yet to come!
